I love coffee. Even more than alcohol. But not as much as video games. When I saw this printer that uses no electricity and prints with used coffee grounds, I had mixed feelings. As much as I love my morning brew, the resulting waste is one of the grossest things I see on a daily basis. While I’m sure this printer makes your paper smell awesome and can probably pay for itself in home business savings, I think I’ll pass. Oh, I forgot to mention- you have to move the print cartridge by hand!

This was an entry in the Greener Gadgets competition, designed by Joen Hwan Ju.

Some people take their obsession with video games just a little too far. For example, this student spent two months on a Mario mosaic. Push-pins for the win?

One day, robots will attempt to take over the world. Look no further than this video of a robot playing Guitar Hero as evidence. Today, it’s video games, tomorrow it will be machine guns. Okay, the army already has machine gun wielding robots. Also, I’m not sure why robots would need guns in the first place, since they could easily crush your skull, but the idea of gun toting robots just sounds cool, and hey, maybe they don’t want to have to chase you?
