sd_card Flash memory just amazes me. A gigabyte used to be a lot of memory, now you can store many gigabytes on a piece of plastic that’s smaller than your thumbnail, and it isn’t even expensive! Heck, they’re even so small that we now need adapters to make them bigger. This is like some real James Bond kind of technology here, I swear!

Lucky you, this particular 4 gig SD card (microsdhc+adapter) is on sale at Buy.com for less than ten bucks this week.

digital_photo_frame Meanwhile, I’m also digging this 7″ Viewsonic Digital Photo Frame. It has 800×600 resolution, 128MB of internal memory and a USB slot, so you can get a USB card reader, slide your new SD card into it and expand your photo collection. I would totally buy this digital photo frame because it is priced right, made by a reputable manufacturer, and it has some decent specs when compared to similar products in it’s price range. It would make a great gift, too!

I’ve owned a few viewsonic monitors in the past, and they’ve been good products. Their computer monitor controls are a bit unusual, but you get used to them. At least the photo frame isn’t some off brand that you’ve never heard of!

tb-nesquilt

A lot of the homemade classic gaming goodies that I’ve seen tend to zero in on one subject alone. Not this quilt- it encompasses the NES experience as a whole and turns it into sleepytime goodness.
