They say that necessity is the mother of invention. So what do you do when you’ve got an iPod, a bunch of office supplies and some free time? You make an iPod stand. Out of pencils. This suddenly turns your pencil buy splurge into the best buy you’ve ever made. Do they even make iPhone stands? I couldn’t imagine that they do. My hat goes off to you, crazy cubicle inventor guy. This guy modded his iPhone, iTouch or iPlaywithmyself to run MIDI signal to his PC. That’s cool and all, but then I saw him break out the horsehair bow. He rubbed his electric guitar with it! Guitars aren’t meant to be caressed! that’s Sacrilege! It’s Sacre Bleu! It’s Hacky Sack! Knick-knack paddywhack give a dog a bone, even. My point is, his music is scary as fuck, and will probably give me nightmares, but it’s cool anyway.

The iBreath seems like it’s a product that is trying to capitalize on the popularity of the iPhone. Seriously- it looks like it could easily be a standalone device, except it uses the iPhone for power. Seems kind of weak to me! Just like the drinks at the bar.. Hey, I’m only blowing a 1.0 over here! You’re supposed to be putting alcohol in these things, Y’know?

This device’s saving grace is that it is also an FM transmitter, making it actually worth keeping attached to your iPhone.
