mdigi This week’s smokin’ deal is this keychain digital camera, made by Magnavox. You can pick it up at Buy.com, and the sale price is only $7.99 – shipping is free! Of course, with a tiny camera like this, the specs are tiny as well.. it takes pictures at 288X352 resolution. You can take 20 pictures at CIF or 81 pictures at QCIF resolution. It can also film .AVI video files and it can be used as a webcam, which might be this product’s biggest strength, as I think it would make an awesome webcam.

pc I was also checking out this Desktop computer That they are selling… My computer is getting a little long in the tooth, and this looks Acer Aspire like a decent step in the right direction. You really do get a lot more for your money with a desktop computer than you used to get.. like two years ago when I bought mine… if you wanted a dual core PC, you would have to shell out a thousand bucks. Sheesh. Anyway, I chose this one in particular for a few reasons. First, it comes with a premium operating system. Second, I’ve always been a fan of AMD processors. It’s also nice that it comes with two gigs of ram, and is upgradeable to eight gigs of ram. That’s a mindblowing amount of memory! I would definitely be buying this computer… you know- if I had the money.

This beastly R/C Tank is 1/4 scale, the world’s largest commercially available remote controlled tank. It’s powerful enough to tow a car. It also costs ten grand. And you can’t even ride in it. Well, you probably can, but there aren’t any seats. This R/C tank is cool, but ten grand can buy a whole lot of vroom vroom.

While sticking a recipe to the fridge, I asked myself “is this how a ninja would do this?”. Actually, I’m constantly asking myself that question. “Is this how a ninja would type?” “Is this how a ninja would drive to the store?” “Is this how a ninja would shop for hamburger meat?” The list goes on. Now I can strike one of the questions from my brain, because shiruken magnets are totally what a ninja would use to stick stuff to the refrigerator. One nagging question down, hundreds to go. Maybe I need to follow a ninja around for a week to get some answers. Probably harder than it sounds!
