This is an awesome invention- it plays notes as you put them down on the table. It looks like a great learning tool, and I imagine it would help people to compose music as well. It has a looping option so that you can tweak your composition until you get it just right.

I’m a sucker for LEGOs. I played with them as a kid, and as a young adult, I used LEGO technics to make rubber band powered vehicles. I even tried to make a remote controlled car out of them, but the donor vehicle I used was really weak. So when I saw that LEGO now produces a pull back motor, I was intrigued. I still have a bunch of LEGOs with gears and wheels. I’d like to buy a LEGO kit with a pull back motor, even though I’m not sure how long I would sit there and play with it.

I’s also like an MP3 player. This sweet little Sansa would do the trick. It stores 1GB of data and is refurbished, rockin’ a sale price of just $14.99. I’d buy one so that I had some tunes while I rode my mountain bike- because I need some exercise! I used to ride my mountain bike everywhere, and now I just kinda sit around the house while my bike collects dust. On the other hand, I have a lot of fun playing video games, and I’m starting to get good at playing my bass guitar, but surely I could squeeze an hour of bike riding in there somewhere. Maybe I’ll try to find one of those bicycle motors. That would be awesome.

I’m not sure if I fully understand how this device is supposed to improve your fuel economy, and to be honest, I’m not sure I really believe it works. The theory is that it cuts electrical interference that your radio, A/C, etc produces… and because of this reduced electrical noise, your car’s ECU can better regulate fuel economy. They claim an average of 18% better fuel economy. If it worked, it would be well worth the eighty bucks.
