First things first: I’m a PC guy. That’s right. Yeah, I’ve used Macs. It’s like bizarro world- like everything is opposite, just for the sake of being different. For example, the window resizing buttons are on a different side, why? For no good reason, that’s why! I do like how the active applications stay down in the taskbar, ready to launch, though.
Despite being an avid windows user, I’m not big on upgrading to the “latest and greatest” platform. I didn’t upgrade to Vista, and I’m pretty darn sure that I won’t be using windows 7 any time soon. XP for life, yo. Seven can suck it! I just wish that Microsoft would quit trying to reinvent their operating system and concentrate on improving the existing product. How about XP 2.0? And I don’t mean that I want to see another lame a service pack.
Some of the fiercest competitors that I face and play with online use gaming headphones. Turtle beach is the brand of choice, but their headphones start in the low $100 range. Lucky for you, these Razer Gaming Headphones provide the surround sound advantage you need to pinpoint that enemy who is sneaking up behind you at less than half the cost! These headphones feature sound canceling technology, a woofer and three mid/high speakers for each ear, so long as you have two ears. I’d buy a pair just to see what all the fuss is about!
Check out these glow stick bracelets! You can grab fifty of them on sale for just $9.99! I’d buy them and then hang out outside of a rave or at some other musical event and sell these puppies for a nifty profit. What can I say- I’m an entrepreneur at heart. These would also be ideal for a Halloween safety type situation, though it may be a bit late to get them in time for this year. Fortunately, they have a two year shelf life, so you can buy them now and use them for two Halloweens to come, and for any appropriate nighttime event in between! If 50 of these 8″ light sticks isn’t enough, you can also buy them in lots of 100.
Kenwood, a company mostly known for making car stereo equipment- has come up with an invention and a half. It’s a mixer, but… get this- it cooks, too! Crazy as it sounds, this would be ideal for cooking stuff that requires med-low heat and constant stirring. I’m looking at you, Tapioca pudding! Top temp is 240°F. That’s 160 C for those of you who were wondering.
