Even where I live, in the land of the neverending summer, things are cooling off just a wee bit. That doesn’t mean that the hot deals have got to come to an end. Today’s front-runner is this 1 Terabyte external hard drive for just $89.99 after rebate. That’s an astonishingly affordable price for a terabyte. I’d like to purchase something like this because I only have 160 GB of storage in my computer, and that’s split between two drives- one of which is a decade old. I always worry that it will crash on me one day and I’ll lose all of my precious data.

Next on my wish list is this DVD set of Monk season 1. It has a user-friendly sale price of just $22 plus shipping. I’d buy this because my wife and I are both fans of the show, and we would watch it together. For those of you who don’t know, Monk is an ace investigator with a few mental issues- namely OCD- he has to touch everything… but he’s also germaphobic, so he washes his hands a lot and is afraid to shake hands with people. This combination of issues leads him into some very sticky situations. Oh, and he’s very close with his psychologist because of these issues.

Here we have sleep-inducing toothpaste- using Melatonin, Balm Mint, Passionflower and Valerian to help you get some shut-eye. Now all you need is caffeinated toothpaste for in the morning, and you’ll be set! The only problem I see with this toothpaste (besides wondering how much of it actually gets into your bloodstream) is that is costs twenty bucks for a tube.

I love playing FPS games… I’ve “met” people from all over the world while playing online. Australians, British, Puerto Ricans, the list goes on. The Germans like their racing games, but they ‘steer’ clear of shooters. I’m sure they still feel the sting of stigma from that whole Hitler thing. In an attempt to renew their awesomeness, they’ve come up with steel velcro. Now that’s no joke! Mounting your plasma tvs to the wall is just the tip of the iceberg. You could hold together car parts or buildings. These things can hold up to 35 tons per square meter. So maybe changing your alternator will one day involve sliding a little jack in under it to set it free.
