This isn’t the first time I’ve heard of the suggestion of growing meat. Last time, it was supposed to be grown in a lab. The one you see here is a personal meat grower. Could you imagine your co-workers growing their lunch meat right next to the office supplies on their desk? Sounds even worse than the stuff they brew up in a lab if you ask me. Fortunately, this is only a concept. Unfortunately, lab-grown meat is a reality. Actually, when I think about it, some of the foodstuffs that they pass off as meat might actually be better if they just skipped the whole animal slaughtering thing and labcoated it up. I’m looking at you, hotdogs and slim jims.

If awesome retro gaming action is what you’re after, then look no further than this awesome artoo gaming rig. In this android’s arsenal is:NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Genesis, Dreamcast, Playstation, Xbox and a PS2. I’m surprised that this guy looks so svelte considering all of the gaming goodness he’s packing. I heard that gaming burns as much calories as walking… but that was back when people actually stood up to play games… and power pellets were the best weight loss pills that you could chomp… they would make ghosts practically disappear!

I nearly forgot to mention that this bot is also packed with a projector, making it an all in one gaming attraction, and making it a bit more like the R-2 in the movies.

Here come some crazy cars from the land of crazy.. Japan, of course. There’s a car with a rocket on it… one with a hood that splits in the middle… an ultraman car… even a humble looking car that conceals an alligator- I mean, like a real live reptile. And to think I was going to write a post about diet pills ! Of course that was before watching this video… Hey, if I spent ten minutes watching it, I figured that I might as well blog about it.

While watching this video, I found myself wondering how these guys handle that whole emissions law type thing they have going on in Japan- you know that after a car has something like 60k miles on it, they have to get rid of it. So, I wonder if the guys who own these cars just haul them around on trailers?
