Google has come up with a 360 degree google streetview viewer. They set up a bunch of screens in a circle, each one displaying a different angle of the streetview. When you move around, all of the screens adjust accordingly. Now if only they offered a live version of streetview, they could sell an unlimited number of New York Yankees tickets and finally make some bank from their mapping program.
Jammin Johns toilet seats are musical instrument-inspired toilet seats. You can choose from a variety of guitars and pianos. I think this idea is cute and all, but the price tag sits around $170, which is definitely a turn off. I have a hunger for shopping, but that price tag is the best appetite suppressant I’ve seen in a while. My thoughts on this turned from “that’s neat, but kinda gross” to “you’ve got to be kidding me!” in the blink of an eye. Heck, for $60, I could buy a used guitar and a new toilet seat, then combine the two.
I’m taking a break from blogging about laptops, USB devices and PDAs to bring you this video game ad from Nintendo. It looks like yet another gimmicky motion game for the Wii. I’m sure it isn’t nearly as fun as the commercial makes it seem. At least they know how to make their games look like they’re fun. I have to say that I was very disappointed in the Wii.
This is just cruel and unusual. The Video GameDR Just cuts the power to your kid’s video game system. I hope it gives them a warning beep or something so that they have time to save. I would be really upset if I didn’t get to save my progress.
Instead of this, why not get your kids a toy that you approve of them playing with for hours on end. Wii Fit is probably better than the best diet pills out there, and you only have to buy it once. I’m just sayin’.
The transformers flash drive is really cool. Too bad it doesn’t go on sale until September 2009. My source says that it turns into a car as well as the big cat and flash drive you see in the picture. Even if it doesn’t turn into a car, it really is freeking cool. Too bad it only stores to GB of data and costs just under $50. Sounds like it’s nearly obsolete already.
