Feast your eyes on the world’s largest model rocket. It stands thirty-six feet tall and weighs in at 1,600 pounds. It makes me wonder when a model crosses the threshold and is considered an actual rocket. The not so little rocket that could is expected to reach 3,000 to 4,000 feet. This project has taken 1,500 hours and cost $25k to complete- the cost being covered by sponsors who you can be sure will be pulling up outdoor furniture when this bad boy launches on the April 25 launch date.

This has got to be the geekiest pool chair I’ve ever seen.Normally, I’d say that water and computer peripherals need to be kept as far apart as possible, but in this case, I’ll make an exception.
This is the geekiest lounge chair I’ve ever seen. If I was a spammer, I’d donate these to the local hotel, only I’d re-arrange the keys so that they said ” life insurance no medical exam ” or something like that… and I’d plaster my URL all over it. There you go, spam in the real world! The next set of them would say I was a Nigerian prince who had to escape because of an uprising.

Both Lotus and Harman are working on creating fake sounds for their hybrids… because electric engines are so quiet. They say it is for safety, but I think that they want to give the driver that all-too-familiar sound of a revving engine. I’m pretty sure that the sounds can be made pretty realistic, as video games have shown just how well a car engine can be simulated…
Speaking of foreign cars, my wife and I are thinking of visiting England. Too bad we can’t even afford airfare, let alone international travel insurance and lodging.
