Having just installed windows on two different computers, I’m really sick of moving in to windows. I mean, it takes several days to get all of the tweaks and settings just the way I like them, and these days, there are many ‘essential’ softwares that need to be downloaded, like firefox, flash, directx, etc.. You can’t just install windows and call it a day anymore.

I was thinking about researching how to put an OS on a USB thumb drive, but then I discovered that Belkin is already working on this. The drive would be able to boot from most computers, and it would retain all of your settings.

Sugar is the name of the operating system that is installed on this flash drive. I don’t know anything about it, but I can’t help but think of diet pills like Apidexin when I hear the phrase ’sugar on a stick’. Fortunately, it’s not that kind of sugar.

Somniloquy: sleep talking. Also, a USB device that allows your computer to shut down while you download tons of data.

“Somniloquy essentially takes over as the computer’s presence on the network while the actual PC is asleep by operating at the computers’ network interface. In effect, it impersonates the sleeping PC to other hosts on the network.”

The device also wakes up the computer if it needs to drop transfer some data from it’s flash drive. All of this amounts to about %90 less energy being used while you’re downloading huge files. I wonder if it works for uploading, too?

Alright folks, this one should be a no-brainer. You get an xbox 360 with a twenty gig hard drive for $159… basically the price of a Wii. I own both systems and I can tell you that the Wii mostly collects dust. Meanwhile, I’ve actually worn out the controller that came with my xbox 360. This is a great price on a great console- I would buy this while it is still on sale because this is a good deal. The great thing about getting a console this late in it’s life cycle is that there are a lot of great games for it that are very inexpensive. Call of Duty 2 can be bought for about $10-$15. Oblivion goes for about $20. Both are great games to get you started enjoying your new xbox.

Here’s another item that I’m seriously considering buying. 100 writeable dvds for $19.99  plus  free shipping. I’m nearly out of blank DVDs, and I’ve been keeping an eye out for cheap blank DVDs for a while. This a good price for blank DVDs, and they’re name brand, too! It’s important to get good quality blank media- I learned my lesson the hard way- I bought some bargain cds once and the label peeled away while it was playing in my cd player. The only odd thing about this deal is that they will send you two spindles of 50 discs. That doesn’t bother me because it will cost about %30 less than the cheapest 100 pack I can find.

Crank this vibrator for four minutes, and it gives you up to thirty minutes of pleasure. Sounds like me. What can I say, I give a hell of a foot massage.

This toy is extra green because it is made from recycled materials. Plus, it stores energy so you don’t have to crank it every time you use it.

Sadly, all of this green comes at the cost of, well more green. It costs about 67 pounds for this simple sex toy, so that’s about 80-90 bucks in the states… that’s a lot of dough when you can buy a plain old battery operated unit for under twenty bucks. Drop in some rechargeable batteries if you want to make it a little more green.

I tend to think of the H3 as a giant douchemobile bought by guys who are compensating for what they lack in genitalia… That being said, this homebrew hybrid is pretty sweet. It has been modded to get up to 100 MPG while still having the balls to go from 0-60 in 8.5 seconds. It can even make a forty mile trip on batteries alone! Now lets compare this to the prius, clocking in with fuel economy around 51 MPG and a 0-60 speed over ten seconds.
