at-at-boombox-450x450

This nifty homebrew combines two of the most awesome things to come out of the eighties- boomboxes and Star Wars. Okay, Star wars gots it’s start in the Seventies, but you have to admit that it was still going strong in the early eighties. Heck, it’s still going strong now. Guess they call it “the force” for a reason… If someone maae a star trek boombox I would say “rock out with your spock out”. Unfortunately, I’m stuck making comments about my wookie. Aaaarrrrrrrrrrrl.

mdigi This week’s smokin’ deal is this keychain digital camera, made by Magnavox. You can pick it up at Buy.com, and the sale price is only $7.99 – shipping is free! Of course, with a tiny camera like this, the specs are tiny as well.. it takes pictures at 288X352 resolution. You can take 20 pictures at CIF or 81 pictures at QCIF resolution. It can also film .AVI video files and it can be used as a webcam, which might be this product’s biggest strength, as I think it would make an awesome webcam.

pc I was also checking out this Desktop computer That they are selling… My computer is getting a little long in the tooth, and this looks Acer Aspire like a decent step in the right direction. You really do get a lot more for your money with a desktop computer than you used to get.. like two years ago when I bought mine… if you wanted a dual core PC, you would have to shell out a thousand bucks. Sheesh. Anyway, I chose this one in particular for a few reasons. First, it comes with a premium operating system. Second, I’ve always been a fan of AMD processors. It’s also nice that it comes with two gigs of ram, and is upgradeable to eight gigs of ram. That’s a mindblowing amount of memory! I would definitely be buying this computer… you know- if I had the money.
